About Scott
Raised in Findlay, OH, Scott was raised in a household that emphasized the value of education and hard work. His father, a local schoolteacher, business owner, his mother, a school librarian, instilled a solid foundation for learning and creativity. His natural aptitude for mathematics, and the new world of computer programming, intrigued Scott to learn how to program using punch cards at an early age. Scotts newfound interest in emerging technology, led him to learn MS BASIC programming. Armed with this new skill, Scott would often visit the local Radio Shack to deploy his wry sense of humor, we know and love with rebellious streaks, to code, let’s say “creative” messages in Tandy computers on display, for those unsuspecting employees and customers. Scott heart told him this what he needed to do!
Professional Journey
After completing is BS in Finance, Scott he found a city that resonated with is personality and moved to Chicago in 1989. Scott started working in accounting, but was driven to make things happen verse just recording what happened and became a broker then a trader on the floor at the Chicago Board of Trade. In 2002, Scott transitioned into the custom home audio/video industry, a field where he found his passion again and where he met Sanjay. Scott honed his skills ever since then with certifications across all levels from CEDIA, Control4, Lutron, and Josh.ai, making him an expert in smart home technology and automation.

For Scott, the most rewarding aspect of his work is transforming a house into a home that clients love. He thrives on the challenge of integrating technology to create spaces that are not only functional but also deeply personal and comfortable.

Scott is an avid runner, kayaker and exploring Chicago’s always evolving food scene. Scott is a passionate cook, spoiling his loved ones with his creation, and teasing us at the office with pictures of his latest creation. He is also our resident foodie. Fun fact, Scott’s never encountered a food he wouldn’t try!
